Shamil OM (Dj OM) is one of the top most interesting Dj's of Kazan City and the Volga region (Russia). For 3 consecutive years , he has been rated as one of the “100 Best DJs of Russia” by the all-russian portal www.dj.ru
He's career started in 1993 in one of the most underground places of Kazan club "Meduha". Then in 1995, he began promoting acid house and techno culture in the restaurant "Akcharlak" and the club "Euphoria”. In the same year, together with DJ Rafa L, he organized the closed raves "VolgaProdMontaj. Since 1997, he is one of the founders and a resident of the Production Company Ozone Pro. For over 10 years, OM has been the author and host of club & music radio shows such as ClubnightFM and Ozone Channel. With his creative work, OM performs at all large and significant festivals of Russia, such as Fortdance, Kazantip, Depo, Dj Parade, Solaris and more, on the same stage with Deep Dish, Nic Fanciulli, Pascal Feos, D Ramirez, Dj Grad, Serge Que, Tom Neville, Fonar, Mike Spirit, SCSI 9, Lisa Lashes, Anton Neumark. Mixes by OM are always a mysterious and unique cocktail consisting simultaneously of beauty and energy, exclusives and classics, from deep mixing to songs behind the decks and dances on the dance floor!
